MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society is located at 1211 Cathedral Street between Preston and Biddle Streets. The front entrance is on Chase/Cathedral Street across from the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall and the rear entrance is on Maryland Avenue (on the right immediately past the Preston Room awning). Note: Directions are to the Symphony garage on Chase/Cathedral Street and Preston Street across from the Meyerhoff immediately before Mount Royal Avenue. Metered parking is available on surrounding streets.

FROM THE NORTH
From Route 695, (Baltimore Beltway), take exit 23 south, 1 83 (Jones Falls Expressway). Exit at Maryland Avenue, stay to left and drive south on Maryland Avenue for almost 2 blocks. Turn right onto Preston Street. Turn right onto Cathedral Street. Turn right into the Symphony garage. Walk down Cathedral Street past Preston Street to the MedChi (Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland) building.

FROM THE EAST
Take Route 40 (West) into Baltimore. Turn left onto MLK and stay in the right lane on MLK, following signs for Chase Street and I-83. Veer right at the light following Chase Street then veer left at next light (Rite Aid should be on your left)-again following Chase Street. Chase Street will turn into Cathedral Street and the Meyerhoff will be on your left and the MedChi building on your right. After the third light (Preston Street) turn right into the Symphony garage. Walk down Cathedral Street past Preston Street to the MedChi (Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland) building. Alternate: After crossing the Orleans Street Viaduct, the street name changes to Franklin Street. One block after the Viaduct ends, turn right onto N. Charles Street. Drive 8 blocks North on Charles to Preston Street. Turn left on Preston street. Turn right onto Cathedral Street. Turn right into the Symphony garage. Walk down Cathedral Street past Preston Street to the MedChi (Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland) building.

FROM THE SOUTH VIA I-95
Take I-95 North and then 395 downtown. Stay in right lane and take Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd into the city. After seeing signs for Route 40, get in the right lane on MLK. Stay in the right lane on MLK, following signs for Chase Street and I-83. Veer right at the light following Chase Street then veer left at next light (Rite Aid should be on your left)-again following Chase Street. Chase Street will turn into Cathedral Street and the Meyerhoff will be on your left and the MedChi building on your right. After the third light (Preston Street) turn right into the Symphony garage. Walk down Cathedral Street past Preston Street to the MedChi (Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland) building.

FROM THE SOUTH VIA 295
From Waldorf take Route 301 North to Route 3 to 97 North toward Baltimore to Route 695. T ake 695 West toward Towson. Take exit 7 onto 295 North toward Baltimore. Route 295 becomes Russell Street. Take Russell Street to Lombard Street. Turn left onto Lombard Street and proceed to Martin Luther King Boulevard. Stay in the right lane on MLK, following signs for Chase Street and I-83. Veer right at the light following Chase Street then veer left at next light (Rite Aid should be on your left)-again following Chase Street. Chase Street will turn into Cathedral Street and the Meyerhoff will be on your left and the MedChi building on your right. After the third light (Preston Street) turn right into the Symphony garage. Walk down Cathedral Street past Preston Street to the MedChi (Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland) building.

FROM THE WEST
Take Route 40 East (Baltimore National Pike) which changes name to Edmondson Avenue and then becomes Mullberry Street. Turn left (North) onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd and get into the far right lane. Stay in the right lane on MLK, following sign for Chase St. and 83. Veer right at the light following Chase Street then veer left at next light (Rite Aid should be on your left)-again following Chase St. Chase Street will turn into Cathedral Street and the Meyerhoff will be on your left and the MedChi building on your right. After the third light (Preston Street) turn right into the Symphony garage. Walk down Cathedral Street past Preston Street to the MedChi (Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland) building.
